Time Attack

A basic 3D game made using UE4's Advanced Vehicle template, as a college project.

It features a Time Attack mode where the player must complete 2 laps around a mountainous map with foliage, dynamic lighting and an immersive soundtrack. The time taken by the player to complete each lap and the race is recorded and a medal (Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Stone) is awarded in game.

The checkpoints are fire rings made using Unreal's Niagara Particle system, and the map (made using Blender) features usage of post-processing tools to bring out an impressive look. The vehicle and its mechanics were provided with the template. The HUD was made using Unreal's UMG (Unreal Motion Graphics) system.
